Andhra Bank launches AI Chatbot in Telangana

Hyderabad, Jul 15 (UNI) Andhra Bank here on Monday launched its Artificial Intelligence (AI) interactive assistant – ABHi.
Bank Managing Director and CEO, J Packirisamy has unveiled the Chatbot - ABHi at a function held here.
Addressing on the occasion, he said the bank has been proactively updating its technology and the Chatbot-ABHi being the latest feather in the cap of Bank’s Technological advancement.
AI powered Chatbot uses latest AI and Natural language Processing (NLP) algorithm to understand the customer query and fetch the relevant information from possible knowledge-based in a matter of milliseconds, he said.
With ABHi, customers would be able to get the information instantaneously 24x7 , anytime they want, he added.
In future, ABHi would also enable banking services such as balance check, ordering cheque book, view mini statement, recent transactions through conversational chatbot, he said Shortly, ABHi would also converse with customers on Whatsapp.
ABHi is powered by Bangalore-based AI startup Floatbot.ai in partnership with Hyderabad-based IT company Netxcell Limited.
Bank’s Executive Directors A K Rath and Kul Bhushan Jain and other Bank’s top executives were also present on the occasion.
