Amritsar freezes at 0.4 C, records lowest temp in Punjab

Pune, Jan 17 (UNI) The cold wave condition prevailed at few places over east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha and at isolated places over Haryana and Punjab.
Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Odisha, west Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Telangana and coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of Odisha, east Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
They were below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema,Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala and in remaining parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and west Madhya Pradesh.
