Amrita Rao to share screen with Nawazuddin in 'Thackeray'

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Actress Amrita Rao will be seen on the silver screen after a long hiatus, with Sanjay Raut's directorial 'Thackeray', a biopic based on ;ofe of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray.
''The bilingual film 'Thackeray' is all set to release next year with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. Amrita Rao has been roped in to play the prominent role of Meenatai. Meena Thackeray was the wife of Balasaheb Thackeray,'' trade sources said.
Telling about his choice of having Amrita on board as Meenatai, Sanjay said,''the actress’ face reflects the same innocence that was on Meenatai's face.''

New Delhi, April 23 (UNI) A Special Court in Delhi on Tuesday extended judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha till May 7 in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
They were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
