New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Warning the Noida and Greater Noida authorities officials to start implementing the directives passed in the Amrapali developers case, the Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered that they should start registering the flats of the home buyers.
"The authorities concerned should start registering flats and no delay would be tolerated at any cost," ruled the bench, headed by Justice Arun Mishra.
It was hearing submissions from M L Lahoti, counsel for many home buyers, and from Amrapali.
We have to do something constructive and not just act as "paper lion", the apex court ruled.
Noida and Greater Noida authorities submitted to the bench that they had set up a special cell to find out the cases arising in the suit, and will also start registering the flats to the home buyers.
The apex court observed,' Our orders have to be complied with, else strict action would be initiated against those concerned officials of the Noida and Greater Noida authorities officials, who lacked in their duty.'
