New Delhi, Feb 16 (UNI) Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has completed 48 years in the film industry. On this occasion, Mr Bachchan took to the social media to reminisce about his signing his first film, Saat Hindustani. "T 2435 -- Today on Feb 15th 1969, I officially joined the Film Industry .. signed my 1st film Saat Hindustani,' Mr Bachchan tweeted. On this occasion, Mr Bachchan shared several black and white photographs from the sets of the film. “There is an avalanche of events related to this date – the 15th of February. On this date in 1969… I became an official entrant to the film industry, by signing my very first film, Saat Hindustani,’’ Mr Bachchan wrote on his blog. After a rather lacklustre start to his film career, the thespian saw an unprecedented run of success after signing Prakash Mehra's Zanzeer in 1973, whose success helped him establish a niche as the 'angry young man of Bollywood. The subsequent years saw him emerge as among the biggest stars on the Bollywood sky way, whose charisma continues to this day. During his over four decade long career in Bollywood, Mr Bachchan has worked in hits like Bombay to Goa, Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Namak Haraam, Sholay, Agneepath and Deewar. Mr Bachchan has worked in over 100 films. He was honoured with the Padma Shri in 1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contribution to arts. UNI AR ADGSNU 1545
