New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) Several Union Ministers, including Home Minister Amit Shah, on Wednesday called on President Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, here.
Apart from Mr Shah, Road and Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also met the President.
Mr Gadkari was also accompanied by MoS Raod, Transport and Highways Gen V K Singh and MSME Pratap Chandra Sarangi.
It was Mr Shah's first meeting with the President after he took over as Union Home Minister on June 1.
"Called on Rashtrapati Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji this morning. It is always a pleasure to meet him," Mr Shah tweeted after the meeting.
Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Chemical and Fertilizers Minister D V Sadanand Gowda also called on President in separate meetings.
Minister of State (Independent) for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju, , Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy R K Singh, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal also called on President today.
