New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) BJP national president Amit Shah, who was admitted to the All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS) late Wednesday, is "doing well" and will be discharged soon, BJP spokesman Anil Baluni said here on Thursday.
"National President of BJP Amit Shah ji is doing well. He will be discharged in a day or two. Thanks everyone for your good wishes," Mr Baluni tweeted.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr Shah on Wednesday posted saying - "I am diagnosed with Swine Flu, for which I am under treatment. By God's grace, apart from the love and good wishes of you all, I will be well soon".
Mr Shah had a field day in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, where he participated in the kite flying festival and also had visited Lord Jaganath temple on the occasion of Vasi Uttarayan.
Meanwhile, party sources said BJP general secretary Ram Lal too was hospitalised in a Noida hospital on Wednesday for high fever and common cold.
