New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) BJP chief Amit Shah on Tuesday expressed anguish at the loss of lives in the road mishap in Telangana's Jagtial district.
"Anguished to learn about the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Telangana's Jagtial district. I have spoken to the local BJP unit and asked them to join the rescue operation," Mr Shah tweeted.
He also said, "My deepest condolences with the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon".
According to media reports, 51 people, including several women and children, were killed, and several suffered injuries when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus plunged into a gorge on the Kondagattu ghat road in Jagtial district of Telangana district.
