Mangaluru, Nov 15(UNI) BJP National President Amit Shah, who attended the meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) here on Wednesday night, discussed various issues pertaining to state and national politics on the eve of next year’s Lok Sabha polls.
Mr Shah, who was in the State to participate in the Union Minister Anantha Kumar’s funeral in Bengaluru, attended the meeting.
BJP party sources said that the meeting discussed various issues including Sabarimala and Karnataka BJP issues along with 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Sources said the RSS leadership was briefed on the outcome of the six-day Sabarimala Rath Yatra in Kerala. It was said that the Ram Mandir issue was also discussed in the meeting.
About 250 full-time RSS volunteers from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra are participating in a ‘refresher course’, which began from November 11, being held under the leadership of RSS National General Secretary Suresh ‘Bhaiyajji’ Joshi.
Mr Shah returned to the National Capital New Delhi.
