AMI survey reflects cautious optimism; respondents prefer small ticket purchases over white goods, cars, property and jewellery

Kolkata, Oct 05 (UNI] Axis My India, a leading consumer data intelligence company, has released its findings of the India Consumer Sentiment Index (CSI), a monthly analysis of consumer perception on a wide range of issues, for the month of September.
The net CSI score, calculated by percentage increase minus percentage decrease in sentiment, was recorded at +7, rising at a constant pace over the last three months, indicative of a positive shift in consumer consumption metrics.
The sentiment analysis delves into 5 relevant sub-indices – Overall household spending, spending on essential and non-essential items, spending on healthcare, media consumption habits & mobility trends.

Kolkata, Oct 12 (UNI) One more medic, who was observing a fast-unto-death demanding justice over the rape and murder of women post-graduate trainee medic at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, was on Saturday admitted to North Bengal Medical College and hospital in Siliguri after lying ill of dehydration and other physical disorder, official sources said.
