American Death Metal band NILE to perform first time in India

Bengaluru, Jun 30 (UNI) As part of Heavy Metal Music festival 'G-Shock Bangalore Open Air 2017', co-sponsored by Casio, American band NILE will be performing at Royal Orchid resorts at Yelahanka in the city tomorrow.
The event is sponsored by Casio that offers G-Shock, the leading youth-oriented watch.
The event running for the third year will also see a number of bands to perform the best of metal music.
G-Shock has targetted to reach a larger youth base wherein their toughness and true spirited ideology perfectly compliment the BOA’s heavy metal melange which is tough, rough, and tenacious, a company official said.
Speaking about the event, Mr.
Sachin Sharma, AGM Marketing at Casio India said G-Shock has taken another step in reaching out to metal admirers of the country.
The metal music fan base in India is growing rapidly and Bangalore Open Air 2017 is a fantastic platform for us to connect with the energetic metal lovers in India.
This association strengthens G-Shock’s personality and identification with the youth culture of the country.
Leveraging the synergy between the brand and the audience, G-Shock is all set to promote this event third time in a row, he said.
The other bands that will perform during the festival include Coroner - a Swiss thrash metal band from Zürich, Galaxy Crusher - sci-fi death metal band and others.
G-Shock has shortlisted 2 bands from Bangalore including Kryptos, a Heavy Metal band, Speedtrip- an Indian Rock Music band.

The excitement is high every year and number of people attending the event is increasing with each edition.
