Amend party constitution on nepotism, AAP dares BJP

New Delhi, Dec 5 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday challenged the BJP if they were so against nepotism then they bring a change in their party constitution that two members of the same family will be not given an electoral ticket or any post in the party.
Taking on the saffron party for accusing the Congress of nepotism, in a press conference here, AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh said the BJP should introspect first, as both the parties were equal when it comes to nepotism.
During Congress regime, Dr Manmohan Singh was a puppet in the hands of Congress high command and there is no doubt that there was nepotism in the party, Ashutosh said and counted the names of late prime ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and of Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi.
On Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulating the Congress on their 'Aurangzeb raj' on Mr Rahul Gandhi's nomination for party president's post, Mr Singh said what right do they have to say like this when they themselves were a copy of Moghuls. He named BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Kalraj Mishra, Raman Singh, Vasundhara Raje, PK Dhumal, Lalji Tandon, Madanlal Khurana among the few who had their children in politics.
Mr Ashutosh said if the BJP wants to finish nepotism in politics, they should bring a change in their party constitution that two members of the same family will be not given electoral ticket or any post in the party.
On the Supreme Court beginning its final hearing in the centuries-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute from Tuesday, Mr Singh said both the parties should respect the apex court verdict.
