Amazon India opens Metaworld experience for its customers in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (UNI) Amazon India on Thursday announced the opening of ‘The Amazon Metaworld’ experience for its customers in Hyderabad as part of India’s biggest online celebration – The Great Indian Festival (GIF).
Amazon GIF 2022, started a few days back, brings a host of attractive deals on the widest selection of products from leading brands across categories including smartphones, appliances, TVs, consumer electronics, fashion & beauty, Amazon Devices, home & kitchen, groceries, and more, the E-Commerce giant said in a release.
Kishore Thota, Director, Amazon India said, “With 11 lakh sellers and 2 lakh local stores, The Great Indian Festival celebrates lakh of sellers, offering crores of products to customers on Amazon.in, including unique products from Indian SMBs and local stores.
In Telangana itself we see a 25 per cent increase in sellers as compared to last year who are catering to our consumers, he said “The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region are an important market for Amazon India, and we are happy to bring the Amazon Metaworld experience to our customers in Hyderabad.”
The Amazon Metaworld will give customers an entry into the Amazon universe, a virtual destination that will let you experience your favorite Amazon categories while competing with fellow players to win exciting goodies. The Amazon Metaworld has 9 exciting zones including local stores, smartphones, gadgets and electronics, fashion and make-up, groceries, and more, Thota added.
As part of the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2022, customers can enjoy attractive deals on a wide selection of products from lakhs of Small Medium Business (SMBs) and local stores.
GIF 2022 will also showcase products from Amazon sellers under various other programs such as Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli, Amazon Karigar, as well as top Indian and global brands across categories.
