Amarnath yatra crosses 2 lakh mark, 4,140 yatris pay obeisance on Tuesday

Srinagar, Jul 17 (UNI) Over 4,100 pilgrims paid obeisance on Tuesday at the holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas, where so far over two lakh pilgrims had darshan of the self-made Ice-Shivlingam since the commencement of the 60-day-long pilgrimage from June 28.
Yatra remained suspended due to slippery track.
An official spokesman said here this evening Governor N N Vohra, Chairman of the Shri Amarnth Shrine Board (SASB) today held a meeting at Raj Bhavan to review the to-date status of the ongoing Yatra, which commenced on 28th June 2018.
