Chandigarh, Jul 12 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Sunday ruled out quota for the state’s youth in jobs, on the lines of Haryana, and said he did not think the neighbouring state’s recent decision in this regard would stand judicial scrutiny.
Capt Amarinder was responding to questions by several youngsters during today’s edition of #AskCaptain.
On being asked why his government could not follow the Haryana model in this regard as mostly outsiders were getting jobs in Punjab, Capt Amarinder said the Constitution and the law barred any such discrimination in the matter of jobs.
