Amarinder hands over eligibility certificates to beneficiaries under MGSVY

Ludhiana, Nov 21 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday gave away eligibility certificates to beneficiaries under the Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojna (MGSVY) at a district level camp here with the aim of taking the government’s welfare schemes to the deserving members of society.
More than 1500 beneficiaries attended the camp today and got themselves enrolled under MGSVY to avail the benefits of various schemes.
Giving the details of the total beneficiaries so far assisted under MGSVY, Capt Amarinder said that nearly nine lakh beneficiaries had been guided to avail the benefits of welfare schemes. Henceforth, district level camps under MGSVY would be organised on the 20th of every month to assist the beneficiaries.
