Amaravati bonds likely to be listed in BSE by month end

Amaravati, Aug 10 (UNI) The bidding of Amaravati bonds will be closed on August 14 and listing in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will be taken place by the end of August.
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) officials informed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that the bidding of Amaravati bonds would be closed by Tuesday and listing is likely to be taken place by the end of August. The officials requested the Chief Minister to attend the programme at Mumbai as for the first time a state government's floating bonds to a tune of Rs.2000 crore, to be listed in BSE.
At a meeting with CRDA officials here on Friday, the Chief Minister said that there should be no compromise on elevation of towers meant for housing IAS and other officials in Amaravati capital. He asked the officials to complete the 6 towers comprising of 144 flats including Judges tower as early as possible.
CM asked the officials to give top priority for elevation of towers and greenery in the capital region. He said once officials shifted to the new towers there would be visible progress in development of capital.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to submit status report on progress of construction every week. He said interaction with public is important and they should be involved in development of Amaravati capital. CM agreed to send some more farmers who gave their lands under land pooling to Singapore.
He stressed the need for visualising the development of Amaravati. Stating that the physically challenged corporation employees donated Rs.30 lakh towards development of Amaravati, the Chief Minister said that it would turn as an inspiration for several others who are ready to be part of capital development.
The Chief Minister asked the CRDA officials to develop greenery on both sides of the national highway in the CRDA limits at a stretch of 130 km and people should feel happy to witness the greenery while entering Amaravati capital region from both Gannavaram and Chilakaluripeta sides. He also directed the CRDA officials to beautify the canal bunds in Vijayawada city.
Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, special chief secretary Satish Chandra, Principle secretaries Ajay Jain, Sai Prasad, CRDA commissioner Ch Sridhar were among who present.
