Alld HC grants bail to 8 accused in 'Iftar party on Ganga' case

Prayagraj, May 15 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court granted bail to eight jailed accused of an Iftar party on the Ganga river in Varanasi.
The court granted bail based on an apology by all the accused in their affidavits.
After the Varanasi court rejected the bail plea, the accused filed a bail plea in the Allahabad High Court. The police had registered an FIR against 14 people in this controversial case and sent all of them to jail. Six other accused in the case have not received any relief yet.
