All-women RPF squad commissioned in Guwahati

Guwahati, Jan 22 (UNI) In a step towards increasing greater security for women, an all-women Railway Protection Force squad has been commissioned under Northeast Frontier Railways.
The dedicated RPF Women Squad, named as 'Joymati Bahini', comprising women sub-inspector and constables of the RPF was officially launched by B B Mishra, Inspector General cum Principal Chief Security Commissioner of N.F. Railway, at Kamkhaya Railway Station on January 19.
It was named after the courageous Ahom princess, Joymati, to have a constant motivating factor to be courageous, dedicated and perseverant at all times in the service to society.
