All publishers, except TTD, deleted from web site: EO

Tirupati, Sep 23 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devsthanam(TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal on Monday informed that the administration has deleted books written by other than TTD authors from TTD website and those will be included after scrutiny to find out if they have any other religions scripts.
Addressing a press conference at TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati, here , Singhal said the decision was taken out by the TTD Trust Board after came to light of some songs related to Christianity in some pages of a book ‘Bhakthi Geetha Gaanaamrutham’ written by Menda Chinna Seetharamaiah in 2001 and he continued that this was noticed after digitalization of books which has taken up in 2014-15.
Explaining about funding to outside authors, the EO said TTD agreed for funding private authors for their writings when only having content related to Hindutva, Sanathana Dharma, propagation of glory of Lord Venkateswara and also to mythology in 1979.
In accordance with that agreement, he explained that the TTD has to give half of total funding to a book initially and the remaining 50 percent of amount after publishing of half of total number of books which was changed later in 2009 that initially 50 percent of amount will be given and the remaining amount will be given after publishing total number of books.
In this process, the author Seetharamaiah wrote the book published at that time and handed over to TTD but no one found the script of other than Hinduism in that. This book also digitalized and included in the TTD website resulting in reached to scores of readers and believers of Hindutva.
After coming to notice of TTD authorities about other religions script through social media by which it has become viral, the EO said he directed to concerned authorities to delete private authors books already put up in the website and also directed for scrutiny of those books once to twice and he continued that those books will be reincluded in the website after scrutiny.
He told that only TTD published books are in the website at present and this decision has taken to protect the beliefs of millions of devotees across the globe.
Replying to a question, he said they have identified 40 employees have been working belonged to other religions in the world’s biggest religious institution TTD and they got stay from court after they received notices from the institution and also they found three employees who converted into other religion and notices were served to them and the action is awaiting against them.
He categorically said the persons belonged to other than Hindu religion should not be rendering their services in TTD.
