All hurdles crossed, finally Vijay Sarkar’s coronation tomorrow, first ever coalition govt in TN to assume office

Chennai, May 9 (UNI) Overcoming all the the hurdles placed on his path, Chandrasekhar Joseph Vijay, the film icon-turned politician is assuming office as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday morning, heading the first ever coalition government in the Dravidian heartland.
In a brief order after meeting with the TVK founder and representtives of supporting parties that ensured TVK crossed the halfway magical numbr of 118 to form the government, Governor VR Arlekar appointed C Joseph Vijay as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and the swearing is slated for 10 am tomorrow at the Jawaharlal Nehru multipurpose Indoor stadium.
This followed Vijay staking claim at a meeting with the Governor at the Lok Bhavan which lasted for over two hours. He was accompanied by leaders of all the five parties supporting the TVK and they included AICC incharge Girish Chodankar, TNCC president K Selvaperunthagai, CPI (M) state secretary P Shanmugam and party MP, Su Venkatesan and Vanniarasu of VCK and representatives of CPI and IUML.
