All hospitals, medical colleges to be connected through tele-medicine: Nadda

Lucknow, Aug 19 (UNI) Union Health Minister J P Nadda today said that all big hospitals and medical colleges in the country would be connected through tele-medicine, besides the government will go for mass vaccination programme to prevent child death due to encephalitis and Diarrhoea.
"The Central government has planned to connect all major hospitals and medical colleges of the country from east to west and North to South through tele-medicine to take the help of experts in the field of treatments. ''We have started this from PGI Chandigarh from where doctors give advice to patients. it will also save time and money for the patients," he said.
Addressing a function on the occasion of Tringa Yatra of BJP here Mr Nadda said on the initiative of the government five million children are administered 7 types of vaccination but still 9 million children are left over in this process. " We have decided to increase the number of vaccination to 11 besides will include this nine million left over children in coming years," he stated.
