Mr Bhagwat was addressing a gathering of Matang community organised by Sahitya Bhushan Annabhau Sathe Trust at Chichbhuvan last evening . “Neglect of Hindu community was leading to conversion but now they have realised this and efforts are on to bridge the divide,” the RSS chief asserted. "RSS believed in unity of Hindus and making efforts to bring harmony and equality among different communities. But when we do something in this regard, a lot of opponents come to the fore and a few words on reservation sparked uproar and hence will not utter anything on reservation, he said. Referring to the lament of Matang community, he said the Matang community, a part of Hindu community, should not be deprived of anything is the only wish of RSS and the beginning should be made from education. If the community is educated, it would prosper definitely. Though the RSS never interferes in the government working, he said, but as the Chief Minister is a 'swayamsewak' of RSS ,the demands of Matang community would be conveyed to him, Bhagwat said.
