New Delhi, Oct 19 (UNI) India is set to achieve the milestone of 100 crore vaccination on Wednesday as the government is expected to carry out a special drive to achieve the magic figure, government sources told UNI.
"Our expectation is to reach the milestone of 101 crore. A special drive will be carried out to achieve this feat," a senior government official informed.
The latest figures from the COVID-19 vaccination drive state that about 95 per cent of the eligible population has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccines. This population is equivalent to cumulative population of countries in European Union and the United States.
