All England Open: Viktor Axelsen lifts maiden title

Birmingham, Mar 15 (UNI) Denmark's Viktor Axelsen was crowned new champion in the men's singles beating Taiwan's Chou Tien-Chen of the All England Open here on Sunday.
Viktor edged out world no 2 Tien-Chen in straight sets 21-13, 21-14 wrapping up the game in
46 minutes.
The Denmark player denied any chance to Taiwan player to flex his muscles to clinch
maiden All England Open title.
Meanwhile, India's campaign took a beating when star shuttler PV Sindhu went down to
Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in the quarter-final on Friday.
