All dues of Pulwama martyrs paid except one family: CRPF

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Rejecting the recent media reports that dues of the Pulwama martyrs have not been made, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Friday clarified that except one, rest of the families of the Pulwama martyrs have been fully settled.
The CRPF , through a statement, said that while no amount of assistance can ever match up to the supreme sacrifice made by the martyrs for the cause of the motherland, yet the Next-of-Kins (NoK) of each of the Pulwama martyrs except one have already been paid all financial dues and benefits as applicable.
"The assistance which is due to the NoK of one of the martyrs is held up as the case of legal heir is sub-judice", the statement reads.
All the families are getting last pay drawn as monthly pension, it added.
The CRPF further said that over and above , all of them have also been paid the entire donations contributed by various individuals and organization through CRPF as token of gratitude to our martyrs.
"The total amount paid to each of the martyr’s NoKs range from two crore sixteen lakh rupees to three crore twenty four lakh rupees", the CRPF said.
In addition, NoKs of 19 of the Pulwama martyrs have been allotted residential flats by CREDAIConfederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India. The rest 21 cases are under process.
Similarly, the Reliance Foundation has transferred educational assistance to the accounts of the NoKs of 27 martyrs based on their need. Five cases out of the requests received, are also under active consideration, the Force further said.
NoKs of 17 martyrs have been offered jobs by different state governments, it added.

CCEA approves upward revision of interest subvention under DIDF

New Delhi, Feb 19 (UNI) The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Wednesday gave approval for upward revision of interest subvention from "upto 2 per cent" to "upto 2.5 per cent" under the scheme Dairy processing and Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF)with the revised outlay of Rs 11,184 crore.
