Akshay Kumar: will not contest Lok Sabha polls

New Delhi, Mar 18 (UNI) Amid reports that he is being fielded by the BJP from the Amritsar seat in the coming Lok Sabha elections, superstar Akshay Kumar on Monday said he would not be contesting the elections.
Addressing a press conference here to promote his upcoming film 'Kesari', the actor confirmed that he would not be contesting Lok Sabha elections.
"No, I will not be contesting any elections,'Akshay Kumar stated in reply to a question on whether he will be contesting the Lok Sabha polls on the Bhartiya Janta Party ticket.
