Lucknow, Nov 24 (UNI) Lashing out at Samajwadi Party president (SP) Akhilesh Yadav’s comment about 'deploying the Army' in Ayodhya, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said that the latest statement by the SP chief is indicative of his 'distorted mentality.'
Party state spokesperson Dr Chandramohan said that advocating the deployment of the Army by the SP chief, who is suspected of causing disturbance in Ramanagari, suggests that he considers Ram devotees as 'enemies.'
"The BJP doesn't believe in either the Supreme Court or the constitution. The party can go to any extent. The kind of environment there is in UP, especially in Ayodhya, the Supreme Court should take notice of it and send the Army if necessary," Akhilesh had said on Friday.
