Akali Dal won’t be part of centre’s move to dilute state powers: Prof Chandumajra

Chandigarh, Jun 3 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader and former MP Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra on Wednesday made it abundantly clear that his party would not be part of any legislation to be adopted by the government at the Centre that erodes the powers of the state.
He asserted the Akali Dal is the only party in the country that consistently fought for state autonomy and made sacrifices and every action of the party on this sensitive issue would be dictated by that glorious history.
