Chandigarh, Sep 13 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President and Gurdaspur MP Sunil Jakhar on Thursday said the Akali Dal was further trying to bruise the Sikh psyche by holding a rally in Faridkot/Kotakpura, rather than apologising for the heinous crime of firing on innocents at Behbal Kalan.
In a statement here, Mr Jakhar said this decision clearly reflects the arrogant attitude of Akali leadership, which was trying to challenge the Sikhs by organising a show of strength, rather than apologising for their misdeeds.
He said by holding this show of strength, Sukhbir was trying to justify the firing at Behbal Kalan/Kotakpura and killing of innocent Sikhs.
