Ajit Wadekar receives Lifetime Achievement Award

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Former India cricketer Ajit Wadekar was on Thursday awarded the Dr Rameshwar Dayal Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the game.

To commemorate 10 years of the foundations service to humanity, the Dr Dayal Foundation (DDF) held its annual award ceremony to recognise the achievements of distinguished professionals from different fields.

On the occasion, India cricketer Robin Uthappa distributed 50 cricket kits to meritorious cricketers at the event.

Also, Amol Anil Muzumdar was awarded with the Sports excellence award, while former BCCI chief Ratnakar Shetty was awarded for excellence in the Field of Sports Administration.

Pravin Kalyan Amre was awarded for excellence in the field of Sports Coaching.
