Airstrikes on Taliban Base causes civilian casualties

Kabul, Sep 19 (UNI) A twin airstrike on a Taliban base in the Afghan province of Kunduz has caused civilian casualties on Saturday morning.
Sputnik quoted an unnamed eyewitness saying that an airstrike was carried out in the Nikpai area of the Khanabad district of Kunduz, when people gathered in the area after the strike, another strike took place due to which around 12 civilians were killed and 18 more were wounded.
The Khanabad district chief confirmed the attack but declined to give details regarding the strikes.
