Aircel launches 3G service in HP

Shimla, Jun 17 (UNI) Chennai based Indian mobile network Aircel, today announced launching of its 3G services Himahcal Pradesh which the customers could avail on their mobile phones or via Aircel 3G dongles.
State Head of Aircel Harish Sharma said being one of the market leaders telecom service aims to increase 3G penetration and adoption in the region by re-defining user experience.
He said Aircel has launched a new offer 3G keeping the ecosystem of industry in mind as most of people still did not have the high end smart phone .
He said Aircel has highest 1.50 Crore customers base in Tamil Nadu as its headquaters are at Chennai moreover it has 12 to 13 lakh coustmers in Himahcal Pradesh.
He said the customers sections belongs to the working class people, mostly migrant workers, students and package had been designed accrording to the need of this particular age group and low segment of society .
He said 3 G recharges of Aircel would begin from Rs 13 for 50 MB data to upto 100 Rs for Rs 169 for one GB.
He said telecom provides internet speed of 4 MbPS and the servcies would be available in all township of this hill state.
Air cel has already lauched 3G service in Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh and Delhi. The telecom provider said it was going to launch 3G services when most of its competitive providers offer 4 G services because its customer base and quality of services were designed in a way to cater to its own segments as well as towards ecosystem of market and industries.
