Air sorties arranged for stranded passengers at Bandipora-Gurez in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 14 (UNI) The authorities have arranged air sorties for the passengers stranded between Bandipora and cut off border town of Gurez in north Kashmir.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, due to closure of Bandipora-Gurez road following heavy snowfall, the district Administration has arranged air sorties for stranded passenger of Gurez Sub Division on January 19, 2017 subject to fair weather.
Accordingly, all those passengers who have registered their names at Bandipora for airlifting to Dawar, Neeru and Baduaab, have been asked to reach Sunerwani helipad early in the morning on January 19. Similarly, those stranded passengers who registered themselves at Gurez will be airlifted to Bandipora on the same date.
