New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Centre to explore hydrogen based fuel technology to find a solution to reduce air pollution in North India and Delhi-NCR.
A bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, issued the directive keeping in view the increasing level of pollution in Delhi and NCR which today was in the public emergency category.
The Centre told the apex court that it is exploring technology, including from Japan, to tackle air pollution and would submit a report on it by 3rd December.
