Air India enters in semis of the All India football tournament

Lucknow, Jan 25(UNI) Defending champion Air India beat Madhya Pradesh eleven by 4-1 in the quarter final match of Indian Oil Super Sports Cup All India football tournament to enter the semi-final stage at KD Singh babu stadium here today.
Air India dominated the match from the start and during half time they were 3-0. Santosh Koli of Air India scored the first blood in 23 minutes and later Arrow D made it 2-0 in 33 minute while Sunni Thakur added another in 35 minutes to make it 3-0 till the half time. In the second half MP team scored their first goal but against Sunni scored another goal in 53rd minute.
On the occasion of semifinal matches tomorrow, Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav will be the chief guest. He will honoured two senior sports journalist: Santosh Suri ( sports correspondent of Times of India, serving 32 years as sports journalist) and Anurag bajpai (Amar ujala, 10 years dedicated to sports journalism). He also reward two former international footballer of UP-Mustaq Ali
