AIPEF to observe token boycott of work on February 3 to protest privatisation

Chandigarh, Jan 18 (UNI) Power engineers across the country will observe token boycott of work and hold protest meetings on February 3 against privatisation policies of the Union government.

All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) chairman Shailendra Dubey in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi said power engineers are grieved over the central government's move towards the power sector privatisation through Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2020 & Standard Bidding Document for total privatisation of distribution of electricity.
