AIBEA's campaign against banking reforms

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 20 (UNI) AIBEA and AIBOA has unleashed
a campaign against Banking Reforms, includes opposition to merger
of private sector banks, FRDI Bill, Privatisation of public sector
banks, Write off Bad Loans, Enhancement in service charges
Outsourcing of Regular Jobs in Banks Demanding for Stringent
Measures to Recover Bad Debts Accountability of Bank executives for
bad debts adequate capital support Public Sector Banks.
In a statement issued by Com Devidas Tuljapurkar, general
secretary of MSBEF and member of AIBEA said that further branch
expansion in Rural, unbanked and underdeveloped region, publication
of list of bank defaulters,implementation of recommendations of
Parliamentary Committee on recovery of bad loans, adequate
recruitment for better customer service, reduction in rate of
interest on retail loans and enhancement in rate of interest on
retail deposits and Willful Default be treated as a crime etc.
This campaign will continue till the end of March 2018.
During the period union activists will approach farmers, Traders,
Industry Associations NGOs, SHG Groups, Micro Credit Institution,
Trade Unions, Peoples Representatives such as Sarpanch, Zhilha
Parishad Members, Corporaters, MLAs, MLCs and MPs from various
politicians parties to seek their support to the campaign.
AIBEA activists from the state will be
organising Gramsabha, Conventions, Jathas, Seminars on the subject
to reach to the masses. AIBEA activists from the state have resolved
to collect 15 lac signatures from the State of Maharashtra.
MSBEF has appealed people to involve and support for the cause of
common man, it added.
