AI Industry tour on Jun 9

Hyderabad, Jun 4 (UNI) Attempting to connect educated youth and opportunities in Artificial intelligence (AI) segment, Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has come up with a novel program ‘Artificial Intelligence Industry Tour’.

The tour is scheduled to be held on June 9 and priority will be given to rural youth, a TITA statement said here on Tuesday.

AI has a lot of potential in terms of employment and by the year 2025 it may grow to the tune of USD 60 billion. There are lots of professionals who are unaware of the AI and many who aspire to be part of this huge industry. TITA is organizing Industry Showcase 2019 to bridge this gap, the release said.

The tour will commence at 0900 hours and end by 1800 hours. Fee for the participants is Rs 1499 per head which is scheduled to be held at Pheonix Park. This is the initiative to help, guide and educate the rural youth in exploring opportunities besides acquiring knowledge of the industry.

The tour will be held in six sessions including AI overview, AI objectives, Connect with Experts, Mock Interviews and others. An exhibition is also planned as part of the tour which would showcase the products of AI. Face recognition and other aspects of the AI will be showcased, the release added.

The special program has only 80 seats and hence it is insisted that interested candidates apply for it via a link http:it.ly/industry tour.

Explaining about the tour, TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that it was designed to give information to educated students upon the potential of employment in the future.

This tour is mainly focused on rural students and hence a sponsorship will be provided to them by TITA. Similarly, IT professionals who are looking for growth can also opt for the tour to enhance their knowledge on AI, Mr Makthala added.
