AHL: India A beat Australian Capital Territory 2-0

Perth (Australia) Oct 3 (UNI) India A Men’s Hockey team beat the Australian Capital Territory 2-0 in their final Pool B match to progress to the next round of the Australian Hockey League here on Tuesday. Affan Yousuf (5’) and Armaan Qureshi (46’) scored the two goals for India A Men’s Hockey team. India started the match aggressively as they produced some attacking flair in the early stages which led to Affan Yousuf scoring a well-taken field goal in the 5th minute to give the lead to the visitors. The visitors defensive line maintained their shape throughout the first two quarters as the score remained 1-0. The Australian Capital Territory went on to waste several chances in the first three quarters, and India took advantage of the same. MORE UNI XC NC RSA 1538
