Ahaan Panday set to collaborate with Mohit Suri for third film

Mumbai, April 14 (UNI) Rising actor Ahaan Panday is set to join hands once again with filmmaker Mohit Suri for an upcoming romantic drama, marking their third collaboration.
Suri finished writing the plot for his new film, a romcom with an older guy and a younger girl. But that didn’t work out with the actor he had in mind. It was Aditya Chopra who suggested he make another rom-com with Ahaan. Since his second film is an action film in which he plays a gangster, the producer felt that the duo returning with romance is something the audience would lap up.
Following the commercial success of "Saiyaara", expectations surrounding Suri’s next directorial venture remain high. While several actors were reportedly considered, Panday has now been locked in for the lead role, according to Variety India.
Presently, Suri is rewriting the script to fit Ahaan. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
In parallel, Panday continues to film an action romance helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The untitled film also casts Sharvari Wagh, Aaishvary Thackeray, Bobby Deol and Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. UNI NST SSP
