Agriculture minister Sudhakar Singh resigns

Patna, Oct 2 (UNI) Bihar agriculture minister Sudhakar Singh who had publicly expressed anguish upon prevailing corruption in his department resigned from post.
Singh has sent his resignation to the Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav. However his resignation was yet to be accepted, as confirmed by his father and Rashtriy Janata Dal State president.
Speaking about his son's resignation, Jaganand Singh said, "we are observing Gandhi Jayanti
and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri who were always worried about the farmers."
Sudhakar Singh was continuously raising the issues of farmers and the plights they were facing.
He was also perturbed over the injustice with the farmers.
Earlier Sudhakar Singh who was vocal about the corruption in his department had stated in a
public meeting in Kaimur that the officers of his department were thieves and he was their Sardar. Sudhakar Singh had also criticized the agriculture road map.
