Agri Min inaugurates 88th ICAR foundation Day function

New Delhi, Jul 16 (UNI) Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh today highlighted the new schemes launched by the NDA Government for strengthening agricultural research in the country.
Mr Singh, while inaugurating the 88th Foundation Day function of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research(ICAR) here, spoke on the developmental schemes such as soil health card, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, National Agricultural Market and Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojna to promote organic farming.
The Minister also talked about Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayi Yojna and a dedicated Kisan Channel on Doordarshan, besides others for the agricultural development in the country.
