AGRASRI to hold 2-day Nat'l seminar on Role of Villages in Nation Building

Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 17 (UNI) The Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India (AGRASRI) is organising a two-day national seminar on Village &75: Role of Villages in national Building-Achievements, Challenges and Solutions and as well as the 17th Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Lecture and Rajiv Gandhi National Awards programmes, to be held here on August 19 and 20.
Dr. W. R. Reddy Garu, former Director- General of NIRDPR, Hyderabad, is delivering the 17 the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Lecture and receiving the Rajiv Gandhi Outstanding Leadership National Award for the Year-2021, on August 19, the Academy founder and seminar Convener Director Dr D Sundar Ram said in a release here on Wednesday.
The event was sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) , New Delhi and on the valedictory session on August 20, Goa State Mahila Panchayati Shakti Abhiyan former President Nelly Joey Rodrigues will be the chief guest.
