Agra-Lucknow Expressway will be pride for UP, envy for other states: Akhilesh

Lucknow, Sep 2 (UNI) Calling Agra-Lucknow Expressway a 'growth highway,' Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said this expressway will be pride of the state and an envy for other states, which still cannot believe that road of such a magnitude can come up in such a short time.
''We built this road in a record time and credit for this goes to the team, which worked round the clock to ensure its completion in just 22 months. This Expressway will be operational in October and I will inaugurate this,'' Mr Yadav said at a function held here.
He said the image of UP had boosted because of this expressway as it is the longest access control highway. ''Many industrialists wondered as how we were able to complete this expressway in just a small time. I had discussion with one of the top industrialists of the country about this expressway and he could not believe his eyes, when I showed him this expressway from airplane.
