AGP-BJP alliance in Assam on verge of separation

Guwahati, Dec 10 (UNI) The alliance of ruling BJP with Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) in Assam appears to be on shaky wicket, with state top brass of BJP today said that it has no control over the alliance with its regional partner.
While addressing media persons, BJP Assam unit president Ranjit Kumar Das said that the state BJP has no control over the alliance with AGP.
Mr Das also stated that the state BJP earlier contested alone, only after the Centre proposed the party to come in alliance with AGP, the coalition government was formed in Dispur.
