Age must not be hindrance in love: Suhasi Dhami

New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) Television fame Suhasi Dhami on Tuesday said age must not be considered a hindrance when it comes to love and that so-called societal taboos must not triumph over one’s true desires.

Talking to mediapersons, Suhasi who was in the national capital to promote her show 'Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se' said,'The concept of 'Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se' is very unique.'

'My character's name is Vedika and it is very close to my heart. Vedika is very

strong-willed, she follows her own beliefs, yet her perception is bound by that of the society,' Suhasi said.

'I strongly believe that love is not bound by perceptions and one doesn’t need a license to love. It is a beautiful feeling to be in love with someone and one must cherish every moment of it,' she said.

Talking about her visit to Delhi, the 29-year-old actress said,'I am really excited to be in Delhi today and I am looking forward to shopping at Janpath and picking up some accessories for myself. Also, if time permits I would love to make a quick stop at Chandni Chowk and try out the mouth-watering chaat.'

Over the past few weeks, 'Aap Ke Aa Jaane Se' has witnessed the entry of Vedika’s college friend Gautam (Mohit Dagga) who attempts to create a misunderstanding between Vedika and Sahil.

The magnitude of the misunderstandings will be so grave that they will project Sahil in a bad light, resulting in Vedika accepting Gautam’s proposal for marriage.

'Aapke Aa Jane Se' is a new show on Zee TV which is launched under the banner of Bodhi Tree Multimedia Pvt Ltd.

The show, which narrates the love story between a 24 year old boy and a 42 year old woman, tries to break the norms of elder woman falling in love with a younger man.
