Sharjah, Feb 20 (UNI) After 21-year illustrious career and sometimes controversial Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has announced his retirement from the international cricket. “I have said goodbye to international cricket,” said Afridi after smashing a 54 off 28 balls in Pakistan Super League match for Peshawar Zalmi in Sharjah yesterday. “I am playing for my fans and will continue to play this league for another two years but it’s goodbye from international cricket, the all-rounder announced his retirement here yesterday." After quitting from Tests in 2010 and in 2015 from ODIs, he remained captain of Pakistan Twenty20 team during 2016 World championships in India, but quit from T20 captaincy after the India tour.
