Administration takes possession of Nikku Park in Punjab

Jalandhar, Sep 18 (UNI) The district administration on Wednesday took over the possession of the eight acres of land of the government, on which Nikku Park, a most ecstatic amusement and entertainment site for the children was set up.
Located in Model town, the Nikku Park was the first choice of the children besides a walk site for the seniors on nominal pay offs.
According to the sources, the lease deed of the Nikku Park got expired on September 16 midnight but the welfare society failed to get the lease renewed, following which a team of the officers of the district administration led by SDM Jalandhar (I) Sanjiv Sharma took over the possession of the park and sealed the venue.
