Lucknow, Jan 16 (UNI) In view of the persistent rainfall, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed the District Magistrates to provide immediate relief to the people affected by rains.
Mr Adityanath instructed the officials here to immediately provide the permissible assistance amount to the people affected by loss of life, animals or damage to properties, due to rain and hail.
The Chief Minister also directed the officials to assess the damages incurred to crops due to weather and provide the information to the government.
